PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
As a Result of this Program
Participants will:
Describe at least two assistive technologies that can assist individuals with attention, memory and organization challenges. Match individuals with brain injury to the technologies that can assist them.Develop intervention plans that will assist individuals with brain injury as they learn to incorporate technologies into their daily lives. Describe the research and outcome data related to NeuroRehabilitation therapies.
Differentiate between the 4 common forms of specific memory training involved in retraining cognition after brain injury.

What: A discussion lead by Kristi Erlewine from the Ohio Auditor of State, Performance Audit Section. Participants will be asked for feedback on their experiences with services provided through Ohio's Rehabilitation Services Commission (RSC) related to:

• Your involvement / experience with RSC
• Strengths – What does RSC do well? What do you like about the agency?
• Areas for improvement – What would you like to see changed at RSC?
• Do you have issues with RSC’s eligibility standards (criteria) and/or wait for services?

Disability Network of Ohio-Solidarity would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Solidarity 2007, Ohio's largest and oldest conference for and by people with disabilities. Held every two years since 1991, Solidarity conferences have helped more than 6,300 people with disabilities, family members, and providers to participate, learn, and gain independence, education and employment.
