Café Conversations

Hosted by Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission (RSC), the Café Conversations, held in 12 locations around the state, will give people with disabilities, their families, employers, community leaders and others the chance to shape Ohio’s employment services for people with disabilities. Each meeting will follow a unique conversational framework designed to link and build on comments as people move between groups, cross-pollinate ideas and discover new insights into the questions or issues that are most important in life, work and community. Stakeholder Meeting on Ohio’s draft Revised Olmstead Plan

Ohio State University of Lima will be hosting a presentation on “Concussions” on March 23, 2010.  This program will look at Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) which occurs when a sudden trauma causes damage to the brain.  During the first part of the program Jennie Horner, CSN Area 5 Coordinator of the Brain Injury Association of Ohio, will present an overview.  Kelsey Logan, MD, FAAP, Medical Director, Sports Concussion Center, The Ohio State University Sports Center, will then focus on concussion and post concussion syndrome evaluation and management.  Pre-registration is required.
