All proceeds from this event will be used to assist and educate families who are living with Traumatic Brain Injury. There are an estimated 227,000 Ohioans living with long term disability due to TBI. Brain injury is the leading cause of death and disability in children and young adults in the U.S. In addition, the Association has extended its services to those who have returned to us having sustained this “signature injury” of the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts.
